“Where The Corpse Lay” Wrightson print available THURSDAY!

Hello Nakatomi Peoples!
The next release in our ongoing Bernie Wrightson Artist Edition series of prints is dropping this Thursday at 2pm! Prints will be available HERE in the Nakatomi store.

“Where the Corpse Lay” 16×20″ fine-art Giclee, edition of 300

Originally published in 1983, Bernie’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein set a new high watermark in the world of fantasy and horror illustration. “Where the Corpse Lay” is a 16×20 fine-art Giclée, reproduced from a scan of the original art board. This is the closest anyone can come to owning the original piece. This stunning image is now available as an artist edition for the very first time.

Featured in this print are Wrightons’ personal notes and markings from the physical art board, showing the hand of a master at work at his craft.

An unparalleled look at a master at the height of his craft…

Hand-numbered and embossed in the bottom corner with Bernie’s distinctive “W”, this edition is limited to 300 copies worldwide. Printed on archival acid free 100% cotton rag natural watercolor paper with archival inks, produced in-house at the Nakatomi Print Labs. Prints retail at $75 each. Please limit 2 per household.

Prints will be available in the Bernie Wrightson section of the Nakatomi store HERE on Thursday 4/13 at 2pm Central.

Embossing detail from a previous release in this series!

As usual, the artist’s share of the sales of this print goes directly to Liz Wrightson.
